Rick Murphy

Purchased Nagrom in June 1978. Developed the business specialising in beneficiation processes and toll treatment of concentrates. Switched the core business to metallurgical testwork/analysis/fabrication in 2007. 

Incorporated Nagrom Mining in 2013 to develop the Tabba Tabba tantalite deposit. Rick has been involved in the mining industry through assaying and processing since 1968.

Dr Slobodanka Vukcevic

(MSc(Eng) Ljubljana, PhD Belgrade)

Dr Slobodanka Vukcevic begins her association with Nagrom in November 2010. Slobodanka who is Associate Professor at UWA (Mechanical Engineering) completed metallurgical studies in Yugoslavia (1971-1982) attaining BSc, Masters and PhD in this period. From the 80's to 2010 Slobodanka has had extensive involvement in all spheres of metallurgical endeavour from hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, bacterial leaching and flotation to the Bayer process. Project involvement in Australia since 1992 includes time with Comalco, Anaconda and KCGM amongst others.

Slobodanka joins the team at Nagrom as mentor and guide to our developing group of metallurgists.

Rain Jovanovic

Metallurgical Supervisor BSc Ext Met, BA.

4 years’ Experience Metallurgy and Processing, 2 years Mass Communication and Media Studies.

Rain Jovanovic Complements Tony Wilkinson in the ongoing Management and supervision of test work at Nagrom. Rain has experience in Hydrometallurgical Processing and beneficiation of ore types including bauxite, Iron ore, gold, Scheelite, Spodumene, mineral sands and Manganese.

Lisa Allen

Metallurgical Coordinator & Environmental Scientist BSc (Env Sc), Grad Dip (Ext Met) 3 Years’ Experience in Environmental sector 3 years Metallurgy and Processing

Lisa Allen has been with Nagrom Since 2010, bringing with her extensive experience in contaminated sites, environmental sampling and monitoring, on site managements and NATA Approved airborne asbestos fibre collections. Since her affiliation with Nagrom, Lisa now pertains vast test work experience in a wide range of ore types such as iron ore, tungsten, rare earths, spodumene and gold, co-ordinating numerous ongoing programs at the Kelmscott premises.

 Roy Gordon

Metallurgist, BSc Chem/Min Sc, 3 years’ experience in Metallurgy and Processing, specialising in Hydrometallurgy.

Roy has been with Nagrom since 2009 whilst studying Chemistry and Mineral Science at Murdoch University graduating in 2011. Roy’s experience in Hydrometallurgy has contributed to Nagrom’s specialist flotation and leaching programs.

 Hugo Hordyk

Process Engineer, BEng Chemical Engineering (Hons), 2 years’ experience in Metallurgical Processing and Engineering Design.

Hugo has brought to Nagrom his experience in leaching and precipitation pilot plant design and operation. He has also acquired experience in the processing of ores including Rare Metals (Rare Earth Minerals), Iron Ore, Magnetite, Gold, Bauxite, Graphite and Manganese.

Amanda

Amanda Draper

Since joining the Nagrom team in 2011, Amanda arranges all purchasing for all 3 departments of Nagrom, organising equipment, transports, consumables and services. While managing the purchasing requirements, Amanda also oversees the Accounts Payable functions and supplier payments. Amanda also has experience in metallurgical technician work, giving her a wealth of knowledge and understanding of purchasing within a mining environment. 

John Lewis

John Lewis

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

Joining the accounting team in February 2012, John provides a high degree of experience and management for Nagrom's growing accounting system. Starting at Ernst and Young in external auditing for mining, energy and utilities, John moved to the Fremantle Dockers in 2007, where he continued to expand his knowledge in the accounting industry. John's ongoing work at Nagrom will also be for the overseeing of an extensive upgrade to all the accounting and payroll systems.

Asha Murphy

Managing the accounts receivable, sales, invoicing and payroll for all 4 of Nagroms departments, Asha continues to provide support to managers and accountants on a daily basis.

Craig Murphy

DME Registered Manager 

Craig first started with Nagrom in 1984. Over 25 years' of Mineral Processing experience, Craig is primarily involved with Tantalite. He is also the current registered Mine Manager at the Kelmscott premises.

PhillipKimber

Phillip Kimber

Geologist

As part of Nagrom's alliance with Reynard Australia Pty Ltd and the help of Mr Phillip Kimber, Nagrom can now offer a much more comprehensive range of services.

Mr Phillip Kimber is a professional geologist with 34 years industry and consulting experience in alluvial tin and tantalite, gold and sapphires as well as hard rock gold, tin, gypsum and other minerals. This experience has included exploration, mine geology and mine management. Mr Kimber is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and  Metallurgy (AusIMM). Mr Kimber has the appropriate relevant qualifications to be  considered an "Expert" under the definitions of the VALMIN Code and a Competent Person for hard rock gold mining and exploration, gypsum and other similar commodities, as well as alluvial mining and exploration including tin, gold, sapphires and other minerals.
